Welcome to Spring
« on: March 22, 2009, 02:44:35 PM »

It looked like Spring was here again, and one could celebrate
the last of this long winter...the yard I could now rake.
    But oh alas, like in the past, it was not meant to be;
it is not twigs and fallen leaves, but Snow that I do see.
Spring was here just yesterday, so much to my surprise,
the Artist changed the colors, from green to white, outside.
The grass has gone; the snow is back, whatever shall I do,
but sit at my computer, and write this poem to you.

     Yvonne /03/03

The photo is from last spring, and the poem from 03, but seems to
be fitting for "every" Spring.  :)

Do not walk in front of me, I may not follow. Do not walk behind me, I may not lead. Just walk beside me and be my friend.

it's getting nice and warm outside here as well, especially in the sun :)

5-6 Celsius outside and sun, but i am guessing it wont last hehe

This might be the best spring in years, I got no yard to rake :D

Lucky you !!!    We have enough yard work for everyone. Where does all the "stuff" come from over the winter? :D :helpsmilie:

We're finally beginning to thaw up here. There are still 1m+ piles of snow in the shadows, but the roads and my yard is starting to clear.

Going to be a short summer :(

It is going to be 12+c here today. :ybanana: :ybanana: :ybanana:
The piles of snow that are left are very small and not too much left in the bush.
Have to get out this afternoon and start raking the stones off the lawns
that were thrown from the snowblower during the winter.

Edit: It actually reached 18c in the shade. it's quite breezy, so still feels a little cool but very nice  :purpleyay: :purpleyay: :drunka: crank up the BBQ
