I've just gone nuts and used a LOT more money then I thought I ever would in just one evening on the net.

My current system:

AMD X2 3800+ clocked to 2.2GHz.
1.5GB DDR RAM
Saphire ATI Radeon x1650 256mb

The system I've just ordered:

New Gigabyte mobo
Intel Core2Duo 2.6GHz (will overclock to at least 3GHz)
3GB 800MHz DDR3 RAM
Nvidia 8800GT 512 GDDR3
+ some other bits and pieces.

I've just spent 5300 frikken norwegian bucks on this, so it BETTER be good..
Or h-kon will pay for putting me up to this. (Silence! I kill yooooou!)

That system should be smoking. Except for Crysis, i cannot think of one single game that will eat your hardware. Munch perhaps, but not eat

Nice upgrade mystic. Similar system to mine (except the video, mine is a 6600GT).

I have read some good things about the 8600GT video.

I think i need to download and do a few tests myself. I think i managed 4200 points or something with my system, but i don't remember anymore.
