New Car

So, we got ourselves a new car a few weeks ago. I bought an Audi A4 1998 Automatic this summer, but we decided to sell it since it really was impractical for our uses and was not really cheap on the gas.

instead we got a 06 Opel Zafira that looks like this one

The owner was moving to the US two days later as an elevator technician on a cruise boat so he basically ran down the price himself in order to get rid of it. We paid 150K NOk for it, or around $20K US. His father worked at Opel in Norway though so if there is anything wrong with it, we can just go see him

4 Months later.......How is the car going?

Just put on the summer tires today. I have driven it 10K km's and so far its been a great car. I fill it up twice a month and from 45 litre (12 gallons) of diesel, i get around 800 km's (500 miles)  from it. Considering that i filled it up at 12.77 NOK  or 2,55 USD pr litre or 9.69 USD pr gallon its nice

It has a 1,9 litre 120 hp diesel (320 nm torque) and is strong as hell, but its not a speed demon by any means.

I have had one problem with it so far and that is the rear door electronic lock failing. Its still under warranty so that will be taken care of pretty soon

Other than that, its been a great drive so far
