Does anyone own a current generation gaming console like the Xbox 360, PS3 or a WII?

The alternative to upgrading Jette's computer is to get a console. We're thinking Playstation 3, but both haven't touched a console since the Playstation 2 so we're pretty green as to the game selection, extras etc.

I don't own a current generation gaming console but a lot of people at work own a Xbox 360. If you like first person shooter game (Doom 3, Quake 4, Crysis etc) then the they think the Xbox is the way to go.

I have never played an FPS on a console before. How does that work anyways? add-on keyboard and mouse, or just the joypad?

The Xbox is also under consideration Smiley
