A friend has a 2003 Subaru Forester. He brought it 2 years ago and hasn't had any problems with it. He also had a 1991 Subaru Liberty. He has had it for 11 years and apart from the regular services he has only had the brakes and the head gasket replaced. Another friend has a 2000 Subaru Liberty and he drives it pretty hard. He brought it about 4 years ago and it still goes ok. Both of those cars have 4 cylinder engines.

We don't get the Avensis here. I don't like diesel engines and they don't seem to have the power than their petrol ones.
It is a shame you don't get the Camry there as that is a really good car here.

I wish, the import tax would kill it i think.

Just a note to let you know that we're ok, but things were pretty tough for a while. We're actually right now in Thailand which we decided on just two days before we left. Lots of things going on which i will tell you all more about when we get home (Tuesday).

I am sorry for not visiting the forums much (or using a computer at all). Jette is going through a very tough time at the moment with hospitals and everything which is why i haven't been here much. I think i can safely say that it's been one of the toughest time in my life so far, and i think this goes for Jette as well. Nathalie has been very sick as well, but has recovered and is in great form :)

I hope you visit a little bit and post every now and then in my absense, i have no intention of leaving this forum alone but the past 8 months have been my worst 8 months in my life.

Well, so far 2011 has been crap but hopefully things will be moving along soon.

With divorce (not my idea), another move for me coming up - and perhaps a new job (someone pressed the big red reset button for me it looks like) etc, it will take a while before i can devote some more time here, but a total forum upgrade is coming during summer and there will be some more music threads as well.
I think i just might merge all the forums again into one, unless someobe object to it?

I agree, so far, this year has been the craps in a lot of ways :gaaah:
but hopefully it will change soon for the better.

Sounds like you both need 2011 to be over already. Hopefully things will get better in the second half of the year.

I have no objections to merging all the forums.

It is right that I have been a long time at the hospital now, not very fun at all. And when I was sick,things was really hard for me and Haakon- so I did say the word divorce some time, but never actually ment it, I was sick when I said it. And then when I got a little better, things got real difficult between us, so Haakon came with those divorce papers - and wanted me to sign them. It feels terrible- and I don't want this at all. But things has been real bad between us, we do not communikate very well at all.  :no: Oh well- I am sure you don't want to hear about this, but I needed to tell that it is not only me that wanted the divorce, and that I didn't want to be sick- it has been the hardest time in my life. And that I have to continue alone, is even harder to think about  :(
