Hmm. It doesn't display at all here. Powerpoint viewer and all.  Weird.

Jette and I wish you all a very Merry Christmas - Hope all your dreams come true :)

That was a nice presentation :) I think my Viewer install was broken.

As i look outside and see the postcard Christmas that we have right now. It's -24.5C outside, the fire is burning - It's Christmas Eve and i am about to get to work. (if my car starts)

Have a merry Christmas everyone :)

Merry Christmas Everyone :)

I used Powerpoint (not the viewer) to view the presentation.

I have finished work for the day and weekend.

I haven't gotten around to purchase Office yet hehe :) My car barely started up so now i am enjoying christmas in my totally empty store watching TV and having a cup of "Gløgg" :

Ingredients
- 1 bottle of red table wine
- 50 ml - 100 ml (1/4 - 1/2 cup) vodka (optional)
- 5-20 cloves
- 1 rounded tsp. cardamom seeds
- 2 to 4 cinnamon sticks
- 1 or 2 pieces of ginger
- Zest of half a lemon
- 125 to 250 ml (1/2 to 1 cup) sugar
- 1 rounded tsp. vanilla sugar

Method
Crush the cinnamon and cardamom. Peel the lemon. Put all the spices and peel into a glass jar with the vodka.
Cover. Leave overnight. Strain the vodka, discard the spices.
Mix the spiced vodka with the wine and sugar.
Heat all the ingredients in a large saucepan until steaming hot. Do not boil! Stir and taste.
If not sweet enough, add more sugar. If too sweet, add more wine.

When serving in a large cup, crush some Almonds into small bites, but not powder. A few rounds with a knife is enough. Add into the cup. Many also like to add raisins too.

I prefer just almonds though

The other option - Go to your nearest IKEA and get premade Gløgg. This bottle is ready for serving, just heat it until it starts to smoke, then serve with almonds.

Merry Christmas :)

We have moved into the basement of the house, and WOW!!! it is not completely finished
but it is soooo cozy warm and I am loving the windows. There is so much light. Wonderful. Outside
the windows, I have hung up a couple bird feeders and have lots of birds. :)
we will move the computer up to the house tomorrow and i will be all set.

The textured ceilings on the main floor turned out great. I will start putting on the primer next week.
Also next week, we are off to find floor coverings. I am loving this house.

Thanks for the recipe. I love to make something new.
Actually, we went to Ikea in Ottawa last year for Glogg and they were so very busy, I left empty handed. ::)

Good Night and merry Christmas all. It is Dec. 24th. 5;25 p.m.

Excellent! I am happy to see you start to move inside the new house :) Congratulations!  Did you get time to prepare a Christmas dinner this year, or are you all just busy bees?

We're currently having the coldest winter since 1865. I am glad i ordered twice the wood i normally do. I have burnt the first 1000 liter cage already, and have started on my second and last. By this rate, we're going to run out in the end of January.  Our average temp is -20c since the end of October. it's mild when it's -15c. Our coldest day was Dec 23rd with -28c, but it's usually around -22C from about 5PM until the next morning.

I am taking the moment also to wish you all a happy new year. This year have been a very quiet one at H-kon.net, but probably the most busy year i've had in private ever - I will try my best to make this little forum a more interesting place next year when we get settled at the new place.

I've got tomorrow off from work, so it's going to be nice to just sip some beer from morning while i prepare the turkey. I'll check this place too :)

I think i have gained a couple of very good friends here, and for that i am thankful -  I am glad you're still here and hope to see you all here next year as well :)

Glad to hear you have moved in, Clifton :)

Christmas has been and gone, presents have been unwrapped and I have a new 22" LCD monitor. I only had a 17" CRT one before so this one looks soooooo big  :D We had 2 Santa sacks this year with presents inside so they could get one out and unwrap it then go back in for the next one. The youngest daughter wasn't quite sure how to open presents my the oldest one was unwrapping them like a pro.

Some parts of Queensland are experiencing flooding. One small town has had 2 "once in a hundred flood" in 5 years. :(

I now have 3 days off work.

Happy New Year, my friends :)

Happy New Year, Dear friends.  you are an important part of my world.  :)
Hopefully this year will be calmer and more peaceful for all of us. We have had
a lot of blessings this year but certainly a lot of things I care not to have repeated.

My Christmas dinner was the total pits.  :(   I guess I was just too darn tired.
made a couple boo boos and so it was not the usual delicious turkey dinner
that I usually prepare. My youngest son and his girlfriend came for New Years
and so I will cook another (hopefully, delicious) turkey dinner today.  :)

We have been watching the floods in Aus. on the news. So much sadness and grief in the world,
one can only hope and pray that the new year is better.

the weather here has been mild and we have been putting the siding and soffits etc on the
house. it is + 10 at the moment. yesterday saw rain all day and it is raining this morning. the sandy
soil all around the house is now a sea of muck.  :(
