Heat wave

Holy moly... it is very warm here and the humidity is dreadful. Everone's lawn is
like straw. We have not had any amount of rain for many weeks.  :gaaah:
I was about to go jump in the pond (literally) when I discovered we have Leaches
 (blood suckers) in there so I will settle for the safety of the shower and a cool
drink.    :yes:

You can send some of that wave over here. We've had a poor summer so far, consisting of mostly rain. Yesterday had showers of biblical proportions and it looks like it will continue for the next week.

We had some great days in early May, but after that - mostly rain.

Our summer was mostly dull and rainy. There where a few nice days. Now our winter has even more rain but nothing really heavy.

It is mostly overcast here at the pond today and the temp. has dropped some. It is 29c at the moment.
Two nights ago it only dropped to 28 overnight.
We finally finished hooking up the central air today.  :clap:  :dancing:

Central air is nice :) We only got air recycling here, but no ac or heater built in.

We still haven't had  a day near even 30 degrees yet. It's 15 outside now. :-/

I only have an inbuilt electric heater, which keeps a the room warm. During a hot summer ac would be nice.

Did the rain arrive Clifton? We've got great weather now, although a bit Florida'ish with the humidity. Still over 20 degrees outside at 9 PM.

Yes it did. Thanks.  :D  we got quite a bit. you can really see the farmers crops shooting up and the lawns
are  not quite so brown.
more showers coming tonight and tomorrow. otherwise the weather has been hot and breezy. not quite so humid now. great weather to hang the clothes out on the line to dry.  :clap:

I just took some homemade whole wheat bread out of the oven. I am ready for a nice slice with hard cheese and a cuppa.  :clap:

Edit....  went shopping today and was happy to find some Norwegian Jarlsberg cheese. (it is not in every store here.)
went great with the bread for lunch. Yum.
