Have been busy making tons of apple sauce and apple pies for the freezer. still more to do.
Over this winter, we plan on making a press and next fall will make apple juice and apple cider. It
should prove interesting, maybe even intoxacating, hehe
We have not pruned any of the apple trees to this point as we enjoy most of them as shade trees and for privacy.
However in march we plan on pruning a few smaller trees and hopefully get fewer but larger apples.
There are a lot of apple trees on this property and indeed all over the area. Probably thanks to the birds.
