Most places here do not have fireplaces. We have one in the r.r. but only use it on rare occasions. like
Christmas or when the hydro is off or the hot water heat goes amuck.

Those with two chimneys are actually two households, but most houses, if not all has a chimney. Houses from the 70's are all electrical usually since electricity was basically free here at one point. Not so now.
Our little fireplace is working every day to keep this house warm which is needed since we're lacking insulation beneath every single window here which we will try to fix when spring comes.
