Ok so I had reconfigured my bios recently & now everytime I start the computer it says "primary drive 1 not found" and "primary drive 2 not found"
this NEVER occured until I had messed with the bios settings. I believe I was
tweaking it because I was trying to enhance my computer however possible in order to play games-Madden 08. Yea my computer sucks I know.

Anyways please help me as to what changes I need to make to restore the previous state where I did not encounter this error upon start-up.

My hardware is as follows:

Phoenix Rom Bios Plus v1.10
Dell DE051 Series
Video Card : Intel(R) 82865G Graphics Controller
Monitor Type : Dell Computer DELL E176FP
Processor : Intel Celeron D 325 @ 2533 MHz
Physical Memory : 256 MB (1 x 256 DDR-SDRAM )

What did you change in the BIOS?

When you go into the BIOS, does it see your drives? If not can you set the bios to auto detect the drives?

I think I had just changed the settings on something about drive on or off...i can't remember exactly

I tried to F2 & go into setup but it was freezing when I tried that. I'll try it again to make sure.

load the defaults in the bios. should say in the bottom when you enter the bios.
