OK well if you have read my last post you will know i am having strange probs. with my new comp. I have ripped out everything from the comp cept the HD (Sata 3.0) PSU (630 Watt) Cpu (Intel E8600 3.33) Memory (Kingston DDR2 Pc6400 2Gb & 1Gb 800Mhz) Video Card (EVGA 9800 Gt Pci-e 2.0)  have Windows XP Sp 3 installed and am still having strange lockup's.

SO I have decided to swap out the MB and pry thats the prob. Currently i'm usuing a Gigabyte G31M-ES2L (it has a Pci-E 1.0 Slot)

What i'm thinking about is going back to Asus (that was my last MB and i had no Probs with them. So far.. )

But I would like to know what everyone else thinks I should go get?? Only Req. are it has to run a E8600 Dule Core cpu, Run off 800Mhz DDR2 Mem and have a PCI-E 2.0 slot.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Forgot to mention is a Slot 775 for the Cpu

lol Sigh also forgot to mention i'm using a Mini Tower atm but thats not a Huge concern (but my Mini fits better in my desk slot and has a Multi reader on it)

On the cheaper side, i would consider the GA-EP43-DS3L and then add 4GB PC6400 which is as low as $40,- for 4GB of OCZ brand (2x2GB)

Add as much memory as you can afford, it's almost free these days and the market will dry up on DDR-II as DDR-III is being phased in.
